Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ability to analyze, develop, manage, and improve satellite communications (SATCOM) procedures, requirements and missions by operational priority and in accordance with established guidance; ability to learn and utilize SATCOM information from diverse ship platforms and teleports; ability to assess operational mission impact of communications system outages and degradations; and ability to manage all stakeholders that support pacific maritime operations.

- You will provide real-world Communication Systems planning support to various INDOPACOM and COMPACFLT cross-functional teams.
- You will provide communications estimates of supportability to proposed courses of action presented by planners.
- You will attend exercise conferences to assess INDOPACOM guidance, and provide direction, translate that direction to requirements, and provide direction to subordinate maritime forces.
- You will provide primary Ballistic Missile Defense communications planning and protected satellite communications support daily and during surge events and planning efforts.
- You will serve as the COMPACFLT N6 liaison between higher authorities, theater service components and supporting maritime units in regards to operational BMD CS tasking and protected communications.
- You will provide COMPACFLT N6 CS readiness assessments.
- You will perform other duties as assigned.
