REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/MANDATORY SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology (IT), or equivalent technical discipline, or minimum of six years of work experience in IT development projects
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- At least five years total experience as a program manager /deputy program manager of comparable complexity and scope of >~30 FTE, various technical disciplines, across several physical locations
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing disparately located personnel
- Experience with contract proposals and the RFP life-cycle (shaping, proposing, winning, executing).
- Demonstrated experience managing a fast-paced program delivering systems/tools/solutions to production using agile methodologies
- Demonstrated experience managing cost, schedule, and budget against mission requirements and prioritization
- Expert level knowledge and experience creating and using Excel Pivot Tables
- Demonstrated success and a passion for program staffing with diverse roles and responsibilities; including sourcing and screening resumes, conducting screening interviews, to include onboarding and out-processing of staff
- Experience interacting with customer stakeholders, COTRs, and contract officers
- Experience briefing customers at various levels, as well as company management, including Directors and VPs.
- Proven record of learning new programmatic skills to support a technical program
- Ability to work core hours of 9 am to 4 pm, most days, on site, Chantilly area
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Demonstrated and current experience managing programs delivering technologically complex solutions to address near-real time data processing/availability requirements
- Demonstrated experience using ePMO
- Experience working in an Agile framework and some understanding of the full SDLC
- Prior experience with property management and procurement
- Experience with purchase orders, vendor quote requests, billing, and expense reports
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with SharePoint and PowerBI
