Overview
We are seeking an Oracle Application Framework (OAF) Developer to support a large-scale modernization effort for a Department of Defense (DoD) client. This role focuses on designing, enhancing, and maintaining custom OAF pages and extensions within Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to support mission-critical business processes.
Description
- Design, develop, and maintain OAF pages, extensions, and controller logic.
- Build customizations in Oracle EBS using Java, OA Framework components, and personalization.
- Troubleshoot OAF-related defects, page issues, and configuration gaps.
- Collaborate with functional teams, testers, and developers to deliver user-facing features.
- Develop and maintain RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).
- Ensure OAF components integrate properly with PL/SQL packages, APIs, and EBS modules.
- Create technical design documents and UI specifications.
- Follow secure coding practices and participate in code reviews and QA processes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
- Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture and core modules (PO, AP, AR, GL, HR).
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience supporting large federal, DoD, or regulated enterprise environments
- Familiarity with BI Publisher, Oracle Workflow, or APEX reporting solutions
