Job Description
Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w. Full Scope Polygraph to be considered for this position.
Summary:
● The program develops a very large and well known internal facing application system that is used throughout the enterprise.
● There is ample opportunity for growth and learning, leveraging new technologies to address evolving challenges while delivering a high-impact, visible products.
● Depending on the team selected, there is a possibility of telework depending on the team selected (2 days a week after 90 days on the program).
Qualifications & Compensation:
● $210K/yr+ (1880 hours/year)
● Polygraph within the last six years (no exceptions)
● Seven (7) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
● Technical Bachelor’s degree (e.g. Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline)
● Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Job Description:
Develop automated system security evaluation and continuous monitoring capabilities. Develop, test, deploy, and sustain Python-based ReST endpoints, microservices, and data model management. Interact with MongoDB and PostgreSQL. Provide middleware and backend support. Debug, design, code, and integrate software. Develop data queries, write documentation, implement algorithms, and analyze system performance and requirements. Utilize AWS and Docker.
Required Skills:
• Python
• Experienced using Django or Flask
• Databased experience using MongoDB or MariaDB
• ReST endpoint development
• Micro service model
Desired Skills:
• Swagger
• AWS, C2S or other cloud experience
• Docker
• Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs
• JSON and/or XML serialization
