Onsite Job: Principal or Sr. Principal Software Configuration Analyst
Location: San Diego, CA | Schedule: 9x80 A | Active Secret Clearance Required

Join Indotronix as a Principal or Sr. Principal Software Configuration Analyst and play a critical role in shaping secure, high-impact software solutions for defense and aerospace programs. You'll manage the configuration, build, and release processes for cutting-edge systems while collaborating with top-tier engineering teams in a fast-paced, onsite environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust software configuration management (SCM) processes and tools
- Oversee software builds, version control, and release management to ensure seamless product delivery
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to coordinate successful deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve build, release, and configuration-related issues efficiently
- Implement and enforce configuration management policies and best practices
- Automate manual processes using scripting and database tools to optimize efficiency
- Maintain thorough documentation for all software releases and configurations
- Support integration builds and address technical issues promptly
- Provide clear communication on risks, issues, and release status to stakeholders
- Mentor and train teams on SCM tools and industry best practices
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Principal: 5+ years | Sr. Principal: 9+ years of relevant experience in software configuration management
- Hands-on experience with SCM tools such as GitHub, Jira, ClearCase, ClearQuest
- Strong background in software builds, release management, and scripting
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Active Secret Clearance required upon start
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl) and build automation
- Familiarity with database management and documentation tools (SharePoint)
- Experience with PLM/PDM tools, large-scale or defense-related programs
- Knowledge of VHDL CM repository/process, COTS, and aerospace & defense workflows
