SUMMARY:

The Library Specialist shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience relative to the creation, inventory, tracking and destruction of classified material (documents and media) in a secure environment or equivalent training in logistics, inventory tracking and maintaining documentation and/or data management systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

Other duties may be assigned.

• Demonstrate the ability to download and transmit classified messages, conduct classified semi-annual inventories of media and documentation.
• Conduct Audit Log reviews and generate reports with analysis and results.
• Display the ability to work independently under limited supervision.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment supporting multiple projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, project leads and senior level leadership in written and oral form.
• Demonstrate self-motivation with a desire to learn new processes and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of one (1) year experience or equivalent training in logistics, inventory control and tracking.
• Must have a DOD Secret security clearance and have or be able to obtain an SSBI.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate and consistent with lab and office environments.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States and for TTO are required.
