Controller Bay, LLC
CIE – Course Coordinator / Instructor Operator / EMT
Location: Multiple CONUS/OCONUS MSTC Sites
Hours: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, excluding Federal Holidays
Position Description
Hybrid role managing training operations while actively executing instruction. The Course Coordinator manages administrative and operational aspects of MSTC training programs. This role includes liaison with Army EMS, maintaining course records, and ensuring regulatory compliance for all scheduled training events.
We are not looking for individuals who can simply coordinate or teach, we are looking for professionals who can seamlessly integrate execution and instruction in a training environment that mirrors the realities of the battlefield.
Instructor Operator (I/O) Requirement
All personnel will function as Instructor Operators (I/O) and are expected to actively demonstrate, perform, and execute all aspects of medical training including simulation-based instruction, performance evaluation, and real-time scenario execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Support instruction and simulation execution
• Maintain compliance documentation
• Schedule courses and enter all required data into the 68W EMS Portal
• Maintain accurate records for students, instructors, and training events
• Serve as the site’s primary contact for Army EMS and related agencies
• Ensure documentation and compliance for site accreditation
• Oversee inventory and maintenance of training equipment
• Operate and maintain simulation and medical training equipment
• Assist with student assessment and skills validation
• Ensure compliance with all training, safety, and equipment standards
Physical Requirements
• Lift, carry, drag, and maneuver simulated casualties (150+ lbs)
• Perform repetitive physical tasks in high-tempo environments
• Demonstrate medical procedures under realistic conditions
• Stand and instruct for extended periods
• Operate in classroom, lab, and field environments
Minimum Qualifications
• BLS certification
• Administrative experience
• NREMT certified and current EMT or higher
• Administrative experience, preferably in education or medical training environments
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Must be able to pass a federal government background check
• Requires ongoing credential maintenance as defined by contract and regulatory guidelines
• Successful annual completion of TC 8-800
• Candidates may be required to meet additional site specific requirements or obtain security clearances in accordance with contract terms and Army regulations
