Job Description
C-edge is seeking information Systems Training Specialist to contribute to the success of our newly awarded Information Technology Support Services for the US Army Reserve, 88th Readiness Division contract for an on-site role at Fort McCoy, WI.
The Information Systems Training Specialist will be primarily responsible for Information Systems Training / Multi-Functional Training Program (MFTP), Classroom training development and facilitation for 88th RD units, Training preparation and coordination across functional areas, Internal and external training coordination for USAR readiness improvement
Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop training programs and syllabus to support system education and unit readiness under the MFTP.
Administer and facilitate classroom training at Fort McCoy and travel to additional training sites.
Identify functional training courses supporting the Division HQ and related USAR units.
Engage system of record SMEs for hands-on training using approved Programs of Instruction (POI).
Communicate with operational and functional commands regarding available course dates and locations.
Coordinate with the Knowledge Management Officer (KMO) and keep COR/DGR informed of training status.
Provide core training on Army systems of record (CSMM, MPDV, G-Army, RLAS, Vantage, Microsoft Applications, and others as directed).
Coordinate internal and external training resources including DoD specialists, qualified reservists, and other contractors.
Assist in coordination, planning, execution, and tracking of training for monthly Contractor Performance Report.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in training facilitation, curriculum development, and information systems required.
Prior military training experience (MOS or functional area background) a significant plus.
· The ability to obtain and maintain a NACI (or higher) clearance which requires US Citizenship.
Certifications/Training
· DoD Cyber Awareness Training (required prior to network access and annually thereafter; IAW DoDD 8140.01/DoDM 8140.03/AR 25-2)
· AT Level I Awareness Training (within 30 calendar days of performance start)
· iWATCH Army Training (within 30 calendar days of performance start)
· ATCTS (Army Training Certification Tracking System) registration required
Other Requirements:
· Travel requirements vary (5–20%) annually
Physical Requirements:
Employees must be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods of time. They should be able to use their hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, as well as reach with their hands and arms. The ability to talk, see, and hear is also required. Employees must be capable of working on a desktop or laptop for a long duration. Occasionally, they may need to lift and move moderate amounts of weight, typically no more than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
