As a DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you'll help streamline the sof t war e development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best-create. You'll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You Have:

• 2+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
• 2+ years of experience automating CI / CD pipelines
• 2+ years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning with tools
• 2+ years of experience with configuration management tools
• Experience working with application development teams across the sof t war e development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
• Experience with hosting applications on commer cia l cloud providers
• Experience with containerization and container orchestration platforms and tools
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of hire date

Nice If You Have:

• Experience automating infrastructure provisioning with tools, including CloudFormation or Terraform
• Experience automating CI / CD pipelines with tools, including Jenkins or GitLab
• Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Maven, Gradle, or NPM
• Experience with hosting applications on commer cia l cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Linux Shell Script
• Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
• Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commer cia l tools in public cloud environments

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
