In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions, Supply Clerical and Technician Series 2005.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NJ-II, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in the Federal Service. General experience must include comprehensive knowledge of supply regulations, procedures, and functions, including operations, program requirements, and work methods. Proficiency in data entry and processing supply transactions within an automated system. Strong command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and formatting to accurately prepare and edit correspondence and reports. Skilled in using office automation software, tools, and techniques to create various documents, including letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.

EDUCATION: Successfully completed four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts with your application.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Comprehensive knowledge of supply regulations, procedures, and functions, including operations, program requirements, and work methods. Proficiency in data entry and processing supply transactions within an automated system. Strong command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and formatting to accurately prepare and edit correspondence and reports. Skilled in using office automation software, tools, and techniques to create various documents, including letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs. Ability to read, interpret, and apply supply regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, and orders to complete tasks and resolve complex supply issues. Capable of using analytical methods to address complex problems and adapt supply management procedures as needed. Strong attention to detail in receiving, screening, reviewing, and verifying supply documents, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. Proficient typing skills; qualified typist required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Help
- Conducts extensive searches for information pertaining to complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns. Provide specialized supply support for operations involving equipment and parts that require special handling.
- Prepares recurring and special reports, compiling and analyzing data to identify trends and develop new formats. Provides administrative support and maintains cooperative workplace relationships.
- Uses multiple office automation software to create and edit complex documents, including graphics, tables, and databases.
- Manage facility maintenance and operations by overseeing repairs, upgrades, and modifications to utility systems and physical and network infrastructures.
- Manage and oversee Information Technology equipment by maintaining inventory, monitoring asset status, and ensuring proper tracking and accountability along with manages all Information Technology acquisitions.
- Manage and oversee vehicle maintenance, ensuring timely repairs, inspections, and compliance with safety regulations.
