- You will serve as Advanced Tomahawk Cruise Missile and Hypersonic Weapons Mission Planner in the Operations Department with the U.S. Department of Navy.
- You will independently plan the five new variants of advanced TLAM Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) and Hypersonic Weapons (HSW) missions incorporating all available existing, new and emergent technologies.
- You will develop and maintain highest level of Tomahawk Planning System (TPS) and Hypersonic Weapons Planning System (HWPS) proficiency.
- You will collaborate with geo-positioning and weapons division to verify target characteristics and develop weapon solutions.
- You will provide technical expertise to support Program Management Activity (PMA) weapon system development effort.

- The position is considered CRITICAL SENSITIVE, and the incumbent will be required to participate in the DON Drug-Free Workplace Program.
- Incumbent will be required to work in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) with no windows, no Wi-Fi, or cell phone service.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- Must be eligible for, and maintain eligibility for, a final TOP SECRET clearance for access to Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP).
- Clearance is based on a Tier 5 investigation with additional access to special access programs (SAP). Execution of an SCI Non-Disclosure Agreement is required, and satisfactory polygraph examinations are required on a recurring basis.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Incumbent will be performing a mission critical function (MCF) which must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functions. IAW, DoDI 3020-42, Defense Continuity Programs.
- This position is designated as Key in accordance with 32 CFR, Part 44 and DoD Directive 1200.7. In the event of a crisis, war, or mobilization, the incumbent must continue to perform the duties to support mission requirements.
- A member of the Ready Reserve may not fill the position on a permanent basis. If filled by a member of the Ready Reserve, appropriate action must be taken to change the incumbent's reserve status other than that of Ready Reserve.
- Additional requirement may include, but are not limited to medical surveillance, ability to travel/deploy, completion of annual training requirements, and maintenance of security clearances.

- Experience performing Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) and Hypersonic Weapons (HSW) system mission planning, distribution and execution processes and procedures and weapon systems complimentary to TLAM and HSW to effectively develop hypotheses, theories, collaborate, integrate, adapt, influence and significantly impact the operational plans and strategic policy decisions supporting POTUS, SECDEF, and the supported Joint Task Force or Geographic Combatant Commanders.
- Experience applying knowledge of kinetic and non-kinetic threats to TLAM and HSW to apply, evaluate and address established and theoretical risk to current and projected operational areas of interest.
- Experience devising innovative solutions to monitor, track, report, and minimize risk or defeat.
- Experience applying quantitative and qualitative techniques and methodologies to analyze complex plans, strike rehearsals, and exercise scenarios, articulate observations and findings, and implement solutions to enhance overall mission/combat readiness.
- Experience identifying emergent or evolving operational requirements to evaluate and validate varied data sources and coordinate the evaluation and selection of data management tools.
