Individuals who have obtained a qualifying Associates, Bachelor's, Master's, Professional, Doctorate, Vocational or Technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution, within the previous 2 years.
OR

- As a participant in the Recent Graduates Program, you will receive both formal and on-the-job training to develop the required knowledge and skill to successfully perform the duties of the position.
- The incumbent is responsible for supporting the efficient and effective coordination and integration of the planning, design, and construction of a portfolio of IM/IT and Telecom projects across the agency.
- Apply project management concepts, principles, methods and practices to IM/IT/Telecommunications/Cloud Computing projects.
- Assists in the planning, design, and managed execution of an assigned portfolio of, telecommunication and networking programs and projects.
- Implement decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development of the projects and intermediate products in support of the mission.

- Undergraduate or Graduate Education: Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
- Attention to Detail - experience reviewing my own information technology-related work or data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with standards. My work or the data that I produce is typically reviewed by my supervisor or another colleague
- Customer Service - experience having brief contact with customers to provide information about available information technology products and services and providing customers with standard products or routine services to address information technology needs
- Oral Communication - experience informing my supervisor and other IT staff of the status of information technology systems, projects, or daily operations, including the status of information technology systems, projects, or daily operations, including the communication of basic technical information to a non-technical audience
- Problem Solving - identifying or selecting from a number of alternatives to address routine information technology-related issues by gathering and applying information from standard sources that provide a limited number of solutions

- For the GG-09 position, qualifying experience is defined as: reviewing and analyzing IT project proposals or assessing IT project risks and identifying appropriate resolution of problems or issues.

- Substitution of education for experience at the 07 grade level: Bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement or 1 academic year of graduate education (or law school, as specified in qualification standards or individual occupational requirements). Superior Academic Achievement: S.A.A. is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average, or (3) honor society membership.
- Substitution of education for experience at the 09 grade level: Completion of a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D.
