- You will Provide technical leadership and manage the RDTandE IT Operations Branch (1041) at NSWC Carderock, overseeing diverse teams responsible for Windows and Linux server/workstation administration High Performance Computing (HPC).
- You will develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures to align IT operations with NSWCCD and NSWC Enterprise goals, enhancing enterprise-wide IT service delivery and customer experience.
- You will collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and address IT and cybersecurity requirements across all Carderock sites.
- You will plan and manage budgets, personnel, and resources; forecast future IT requirements, equipment, facility, and manpower needs to ensure sound fiscal and operational management.
- You will ensure compliance with organizational policies, cybersecurity standards, and applicable DoD/DON requirements affecting IT infrastructure and services.
- You will represent the RDTandE IT Operations Branch in meetings, Enterprise working groups, and technical forums, providing expert advice and leadership on network and infrastructure issues.
- You will lead multiple projects and teams, setting objectives, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and ensuring effective communication and coordination to meet technical and operational goals.
- You will analyze complex technical problems related to IT systems, networks, and cybersecurity; provide expert recommendations and guidance to staff, management, and stakeholders.
- You will build and sustain collaborative partnerships within the Division, NSWC Enterprise, and NAVSEA to support IT operations, contribute to governance initiatives, and advance organizational mission success.

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (801), proficiency level (Advanced) the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
