Summary:
• Lead the identification, analysis, and implementation of robust security requirements for complex systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain critical information security controls across various systems and networking operations.
• Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments, risk analysis, and risk management activities.
• Drive the integration of advanced cybersecurity practices into system configuration management and development lifecycles.
• Develop and evolve secure system architectures, including the seamless integration of legacy systems.
• Prepare and manage security authorization documentation to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 8+ years
• Salary: $290k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Conduct detailed requirements analysis to define and support system security needs throughout the engineering lifecycle.
• Design, engineer, and implement advanced system security solutions leveraging defense-in-depth principles.
• Perform thorough security risk assessments, risk analysis, and risk management for diverse systems and networking environments.
• Integrate cybersecurity practices into all phases of configuration management and development processes.
• Develop and maintain secure software and system architectures, including the integration of legacy components.
• Prepare, review, and manage all necessary security authorization documentation packages.
• Lead and contribute to system integration and test (I&T) activities, including comprehensive security testing.
• Implement and oversee software configuration management processes, ensuring security controls are maintained.
• Apply expertise in identification, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Oversee and manage risk mitigation strategies, intrusion detection, contingency planning, and incident handling procedures.
• Manage configuration control, change management, and auditing processes from a security perspective.
• Utilize strong communications and technical writing skills for documentation and stakeholder collaboration.
• Apply systems engineering principles to all aspects of security design and implementation.
• Contribute to program management efforts related to cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring objectives are met.
