Summary:
• Lead the development and enhancement of sophisticated software systems, encompassing the full software development lifecycle.
• Perform comprehensive requirements analysis, detailed software design, efficient coding, thorough debugging, and seamless integration of software components.
• Design and implement advanced algorithms, manage complex data flows, and develop robust database queries.
• Conduct rigorous software testing and produce high-quality technical documentation for various audiences.
• Provide technical leadership to software development teams, guiding projects from conception to deployment.
• Leverage expertise in Map Reduce, Java, Hadoop, and Accumulo to drive innovative solutions.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Salary: $305k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Lead the full software development lifecycle for complex systems, from requirements analysis to deployment.
• Design, develop, test, and integrate software solutions using Java and related technologies.
• Implement and optimize algorithms to process and analyze large datasets.
• Perform detailed requirements analysis to translate operational needs into technical specifications.
• Conduct comprehensive software testing, including unit, integration, and system testing.
• Develop and manage database schemas, queries, and data storage solutions using technologies like Accumulo.
• Manage and optimize data flows within distributed computing environments, including Map Reduce and Hadoop.
• Create clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation for software designs, APIs, and user guides.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering collaboration and best practices.
• Apply mathematical principles to solve complex engineering challenges and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful system integration and delivery.
