Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.

Summary:
• Analyze user requirements, develop detailed system specifications, and lead all phases of design and development.
• Guide comprehensive system development and implementation planning, ensuring successful project execution.
• Apply deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation tools.
• Oversee critical aspects of system lifecycle, including architecture, security, integration, and testing.

• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Salary: $271k+ yearly compensation

Job Description:
• Perform thorough requirements analysis and translate user needs into precise system requirements specifications.
• Lead and guide system design, development, and implementation activities for complex solutions.
• Drive the adoption and integration of DevOps methodologies and tools.
• Design, implement, and manage container orchestration platforms using Kubernetes and Helm.
• Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Salt, and Ansible for automated system configuration and deployment.
• Manage and optimize Rancher environments for container lifecycle management.
• Implement and maintain robust monitoring and logging solutions using Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Grafana.
• Apply expert-level knowledge of Cryptography to ensure secure system design and data protection.
• Conduct comprehensive Systems Engineering activities throughout the system development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain robust Software Architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Oversee Integration and Test (I&T) efforts, ensuring system quality, functionality, and performance.
• Implement and manage System Security measures, including functions related to information system security oversight.
• Provide technical team leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development and engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation and perform technical writing tasks.
• Implement and manage software configuration management processes, including version control.
• Contribute to program management activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Participate in software development initiatives and consider hardware engineering implications for integrated systems.
