Description of Duties:
The Mid-Level Scheduler supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
- Be responsible for coordinating, developing, maintaining and analyzing project or program schedules.
- Create, update, and baseline Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Identify schedule variances, analyz critical paths, and forecast impacts to milestones.
- Work with program managers, control account managers, and functional teams to gather updates and resolve conflicts.
- Prepare reports and briefings on schedule performance for managers.
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Be able to multitask and meet strict deadlines

Basic Requirements:
- Must have 1, or more, years of directly related experience
- Must have expert knowledge of Primavera, Microsoft Project or other industry standard scheduling tool.
- Basic understanding of aerospace defense.
- Must have a working knowledge of Deltek Cobra, Empower, or other EVM software tools. Microsoft Office suite
- Must have strong math and research skills
- Must have a strong understanding of Earned Value Management methodologies. management methodology
- Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Requirements:
- Have a strong understanding of aerospace defense
- Have a strong proficiency with Deltek Cobra, Empower, or other EVM software tools.etc. and financial systems
- Have a professional certification such as PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Have expert knowledge of Microsoft Project.
