Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a skilled Oracle Application Framework (OAF) Developer to support a federal client in modernizing and enhancing large-scale Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain custom OAF pages and extensions that support mission-critical business processes. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain custom OAF pages and extensions that support mission-critical business processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-focused solutions that improve system performance and support enterprise operations in a secure government environment.
What You'll Do
As an Oracle Application Framework (OAF) Developer, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain OAF pages, extensions, and controller logic aligned with technical and functional requirements
- Build customizations within Oracle EBS using Java, OA Framework components, personalization, and page configurations
- Analyze and troubleshoot OAF-related defects, page behavior issues, and configuration gaps across environments
- Collaborate with functional SMEs, testers, and developers to deliver user-facing features
- Develop and maintain RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) related to OAF UI functionality
- Ensure integration between OAF components, PL/SQL packages, APIs, and Oracle EBS modules
- Produce technical design documentation, UI specifications, and testing artifacts
- Follow secure coding practices and contribute to code reviews and quality assurance tasks
- Support Agile development processes and iterative delivery cycles
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Remote work supporting federal defense programs
- Minimum of 4+ years experience developing in Oracle Application Framework (OAF)
- Strong understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) architecture and core modules (e.g., PO, AP, AR, GL, HR)
- Proficiency with Java, SQL, PL/SQL, and OA Framework MVC components
- Minimum of 4+ years experience working in Agile environments supporting iterative delivery
- Experience with Agile Project Management
- Experience analyzing and troubleshooting OAF-related issues across multiple environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large federal, defense, or regulated enterprise environments
- Familiarity with BI Publisher, Oracle Workflow, or Oracle APEX reporting solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and functional teams
Demonstrated Advanced experience with:
- Oracle Application Framework (OAF) development and customization
- Oracle EBS architecture and enterprise system integration
- RICEW component development and implementation
- Agile development methodologies and collaborative delivery
- Support mission-critical defense ERP modernization initiatives
- Work with advanced Oracle EBS and OAF technologies
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams
- Contribute to secure, scalable, and high-impact enterprise solutions
