Description:Role Overview
Lead a manufacturing team to deliver high-quality products on time and within cost. You'll coordinate daily operations across functions, support continuous improvement, and create a team culture grounded in communication, accountability, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead daily manufacturing operations across areas such as assembly, machining, and production support
• Coordinate closely with engineering, quality, and production control teams
• Run cross-functional meetings to align priorities, remove blockers, and drive results
• Monitor and improve performance in quality, schedule, and cost targets
• Identify and support process improvements to increase efficiency and consistency
• Coach and develop team members through clear expectations, feedback, and support
• Foster an inclusive, respectful team environment where all employees can contribute
• Manage hiring, training, performance, and employee relations
Work Environment
• Fast-paced manufacturing setting with hands-on leadership
• High collaboration across technical and operational teams
• Regular presence on the production floor

Basic Qualifications:
To be considered, candidates must meet all requirements listed:
• Experience leading or supervising teams in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience managing daily operations and meeting goals for quality, schedule, and cost
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or technical instructions
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, quality, production control)
• Experience supporting or implementing process improvements
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Nice-to-have skills that strengthen candidacy but are not required:
Education & Tools
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP)
Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methods
• Experience tracking performance metrics or using data to guide decisions
Leadership & Collaboration
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience coaching, motivating, and developing team members
• Ability to build accountability and foster a respectful, inclusive team environment
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, team-oriented settings

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
