You will be the Robotics/Controls Engineer Staff for the Robotics and Controls Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for design, development, and support of automated manufacturing equipment.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
Working knowledge of electrical and logic drawings
Proficient with MS Office suite
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve industrial automation equipment issues
Knowledgeable of manufacturing equipment electrical design and system integration
Able to select and specify field devices and sensors
Communicates well with technical, management, and front line employees
Desired Skills:
Experienced with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs, ControlLogix, FactoryTalk, RSView, Kinetix
Proficient with AutoCAD, Dassault DraftSight 2D, or comparable CAD software to develop and finalize electrical control drawings
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
Familiar with the NFPA 70 National Electric Code
Experience designing industrial control systems, including power distribution, VFDs, motors, circuit protection, control devices, instrumentation, logic, etc.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

What You Will Be Doing

- Troubleshoot and resolve PLCs, AC/DC motors, servo drives, VFDs, and HMIs.
- Improve existing controls to enhance safety, productivity, and efficiency.
- Develop complete electrical automation packages from specifications through checkout and startup.
- Create and maintain control drawings using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, safety, IT, and other stakeholders to deliver best-practice solutions.
