Position Description
We are seeking a Senior Front End Web Developer to support a newly awarded 5-year contract delivering advanced geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) capabilities across mission-critical systems. This effort focuses on the development, integration, and deployment of modern, user-facing applications that support end-to-end workflows for tasking, processing, exploitation, and dissemination of intelligence data.
The program brings together engineering, development, and test teams to build and deliver new capabilities, integrate diverse data sources and systems, and enhance performance across a complex, multi-domain environment. Work spans the full lifecycle, from application design and development through integration and deployment, ensuring scalable, high-performing solutions that directly support operational intelligence missions.
Primary Responsibilities
• Develop frontend web applications using Angular and/or React that integrate with backend services
• Support backend service development using Java, including building or maintaining RESTful services as needed
• Develop frontend web applications using modern techniques and frameworks (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, CSS frameworks like LESS and SASS, Responsive Design, Bourbon, Twitter Bootstrap)
• Develop JavaScript solutions using modern standards, including strict mode compliance, modularization techniques and tools, and frameworks and libraries (e.g., jQuery, MV* frameworks such as Backbone.js and Ember.js, D3)
• Consume RESTful APIs to support dynamic, user-facing applications
• Develop views and templates in full-stack frameworks like Rails, Express, or Django
• Create web layouts from static images
• Work in team environments that use agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Lean)
• Use version control systems, specifically Git and GitHub
• Ensure Section 508 compliance
• Research and learn new programming tools and techniques
• Work with open-source solutions and community resources
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience developing frontend applications using modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, Bourbon, and Bootstrap
• Strong JavaScript development experience, including modern standards, strict mode, and modularization techniques
• Experience working with JavaScript frameworks or libraries such as jQuery, Backbone, Ember, D3, Angular, React, or similar
• Experience developing views and templates within full-stack frameworks such as Rails, Express, Django, or similar
• Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs in frontend applications
• Experience supporting or developing RESTful services using Java
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Proficiency with Git-based version control systems
• Experience ensuring accessibility compliance
• Experience supporting Tier 2 and Tier 3 troubleshooting and interacting with customers to resolve technical issues
• Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Puppet
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
• Experience with SAFe processes
Compensation
$120,000-$140,000
The Ennoble First pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
