Overview
CommIT Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a ECS Solution Engineer join the team in Quantico, VA. The Enterprise Collaboration System (ECS) Solution Engineer provides engineering, design, and integration support for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services across enterprise and tactical environments. This role is responsible for designing and implementing VoIP solutions that integrate with existing and future network infrastructure, supporting mission-critical capabilities such as Extension Mobility, Unified Messaging, Emergency Responder, and Call Center operations. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable voice services for USMC and DISA Voice over Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP) environments.

Responsibilities
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to-
• Engineer, design, and integrate VoIP services-including servers, switches, routers, and supporting equipment-into existing and future network architectures.• Evaluate communication hardware and software solutions; provide recommendations based on performance, scalability, and security requirements.• Troubleshoot LAN, BAN, WAN, and related network issues impacting VoIP performance or availability.• Design VoIP solutions that incorporate Layer 3 switching capabilities and updated TACLANE configurations supporting USMC and DISA VoSIP integration and transition efforts.• Design and configure auxiliary voice VLANs, PSTN interfaces, fax modules, and other components required to support enterprise voice systems.• Configure and manage network devices required for VoIP service delivery, ensuring compliance with DoD and USMC cybersecurity and interoperability standards.• Integrate VoIP services with PKI certificates and Active Directory network accounts to enable two-factor authentication for all domain account categories.• Prepare technical documentation, system diagrams, engineering change proposals, and implementation plans.• Provide technical support during deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and sustainment activities.

Qualifications
Required Experience and Education:
- Experience engineering and integrating VoIP services in enterprise or DoD environments
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, and network protocols supporting VoIP.
- Experience with TACLANE configuration or similar Type 1 encryption devices.
- Familiarity with PKI integration and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network and voice interoperability issues.
Technical Certifications:
