Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Product Repair/Modification Technician to support the Maintenance Team in Heath, Ohio.

This role will have a heavy focus on electro-mechanical skills to include emphasis on wire harness routing & repair, installation of ESD components, electrical grounding & testing, and test instrumentation installation.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Disassembles systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes
  • Performs routine troubleshooting of electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components
  • Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components
  • Inspects component before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability of components
  • Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications
  • Performs tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations)
  • Works under general supervision


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ years' experience with electrical/electronic troubleshooting, routing, splicing, connectors, bundle dressing, etc.
  • Experience with electrical and/or instrumentation test equipment
  • Experience reading and interpreting basic engineering drawings and specifications
  • Experience using basic Microsoft Office and office computing systems


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience with instrumentation calibration and use

Summary pay range: $48,450-$65,550 USD
