The Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a skilled engineer to join our team as a Product Review Engineer (Liaison Engineer). This role requires a dedicated professional to address product and process issues, ensuring our engineering solutions align with design principles and safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Prior MRB authorization.
- Level 3: 5 years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience with a Master's.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
- Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.
- Prior Defense MRB authorization.
- Strong communication and cross-group collaboration skills.
- Hands-on problem-solving skills.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Research and build knowledge of engineering design principles to develop solutions for product/process issues.
- Assist with analyses, root cause analysis, and drafting dispositions for design non-conformances.
- Support system owners in preparing technical communications.
- Identify and analyze fleet data to evaluate product/process improvement opportunities.
- Participate in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
- Assist with the design of interim structural repairs to restore damaged structures to original design strength capability.
