Location: Rosslyn, VA (Hybrid)
Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Business Analyst to support a federal client in gathering requirements, improving business processes, and supporting ServiceNow solution delivery in a secure environment.
In this role, you will be critical in the design phase, ensuring that proposed solutions align with organizational objectives and user expectations. You will work closely with stakeholders, project teams, and developers to translate business needs into actionable requirements and support high-quality solution delivery. You will play an important role throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to requirements gathering, Agile planning, and process improvement efforts that help advance mission-critical federal operations.

What You'll Do
As a ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow solutions
- Translate functional requirements into detailed Agile user stories and supporting documentation
- Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented accurately
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Develop and execute test cases to validate solution functionality and quality
- Support user acceptance testing and confirm deliverables align with defined requirements and function as intended
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend practical solutions
- Document business processes, workflows, and system interactions to support implementation and operational continuity
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Hybrid work environment in Rosslyn, VA
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Minimum of 0-2 years experience with ServiceNow
- Minimum of 0-2 years experience with Agile fundamentals and Agile team environments
- Experience gathering and documenting functional requirements
- Experience with structured requirements gathering techniques, testing, user acceptance testing, and process documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving project scopes
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and manage multiple priorities effectively
Demonstrated Advanced experience with:
- Requirements gathering and business process analysis
- Agile user story development and stakeholder collaboration
- Testing, validation, and user acceptance support
- Business process, workflow, and system documentation
- Support mission-critical federal technology and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with experienced teams in a secure government environment
