Job Description
EPS is seeking a dedicate Mechanical Engineer support programs The ideal candidate will have significant experience obtained in or comparable DoD environment in the areas of design, fabrication, and integration of mechanical systems or similar systems, including leading of a team of mechanical engineers.
Our Mechanical Engineers are proficient in design, evaluation, planning, testing, and capable of operating mechanical and some robotics equipment and systems.

Desired Skills/Other Considerations
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline, and; • Eight (8) years of experience in the areas of mechanical design and engineering including the design, manufacture, and testing of mechanical assemblies to prove operation of design. • Demonstrated ability to evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by applying principles of mechanics and materials. • Demonstrated experience developing manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components. • Demonstrated experience with solid modeling, infinite element modeling techniques, and mechanical and thermal stress analysis. • Demonstrated ability to plan and design project work to meet project objectives and requirements. • Experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software such as Solidworks/Pro Engineer and Visio for creating or documenting system designs. This includes experience developing technical data packages and documentation in accordance with DoD standards and instructions. • Demonstrated experience with Extreme Power Internal Combustion machines/engines. • Demonstrated experience in shock/vibration modeling and simulation and highly accelerated life test/highly accelerated stress screening methodologies. A proven background and track record in design for manufacturability

- Performs engineering work concerned with the design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation of mechanical components, equipment and systems for commercial, government, military and/or scientific uses.
- Performs various tests and documents results.
- Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance as required.
- Identifies and documents clients' functional requirements.
- Gathers and correlates engineering data.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
- Participates in special projects as required.
