Northrop Grumman Corporate is seeking a Manager of Industrial Security 3 with Security Operations knowledge, skills, and experience to support Enterprise initiatives focused on Physical Security Services, Infrastructure, and Technology.
This position reports directly to the NG Corporate Security Director and is based at the Corporate Headquarters in Falls Church, VA.
Roles and responsibilities:
The role will focus on strategic oversight, integration, and advancement of Physical Security Services, Infrastructure and Technology. Together with functional and company stakeholders help drive standardization, cost-effective solutions, and innovative technology integration while managing risk and identifying opportunity across the organization. The ideal candidate combines hands-on security experience with strong project-management skills, and the ability to collaborate across a variety of functional departments .

Primary Level Salary Range: $159,500.00 - $239,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Assist with managing vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements to maintain affordable, high-quality security services
- Prepare and present regular status reports, KPI dashboards, and executive briefings on security service performance and health
- Identify emerging technologies, tools, and vendors. Assist in establishing business cases to enable organizational vision and execution
- Develop and align comprehensive strategies and technology road maps to achieve incremental progress in support of organizational goals
- Partner with cross functional stakeholders to integrate and implement security solutions, including with the Chief Data and Information Office for identify management and the role of credentials/badges in the workplace
- Assist with the development of employee and visitor security centric processes focused on positive user experience (repeatability, ease of use, self-service)
- Establish partnerships with government and industry stakeholders to exchange best practices and threat intelligence
- Serve as the focal point for a matrixed geographically dispersed team to ensure corporate governance and consistency of execution company wide
- Support to building physical security programs, processes, and procedures including emergency response, crisis management, executive protection, and visitor management
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of security experience OR Master's degree with 8 years of security experience OR Associate's degree with 12 years of security experience OR High School Diploma and 14 years of security experience
- Candidates must have a current U.S. Government Top Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) and must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, SCI level access as a condition of continued employment
- Program management experience, including budgeting, reporting, and strategic planning
- Knowledge of access control systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection, badge issuance platforms, and perimeter hardening methods
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary security projects from concept through completion
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present technical findings to non-technical executives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with Uniformed Officer Enterprise Contract Management
- Understanding of IT/OT systems, frameworks, risks, and vulnerabilities
- Proficiency in security management software (e.g., Genetec, Lenel, Avigilon)
- Ability to conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for both physical and cyber-physical interfaces
- Professional certifications, including PPS (Physical Protection Specialist) or CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or similar
- Experience with Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED)
- Working knowledge of LEED or other sustainable building standards as they relate to security design
