Site Representative Systems Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Top Secret Cleared Site Representative Systems Engineer to support an exciting and impactful customer mission on the Horizon 2 contract. The Horizon 2 contract provides the Government system acquisition program offices Advisory and Assistance Services for various types of weapons systems. This position is available in Tucson, AZ.

This position requires strong experience in systems engineering and manufacturing. The candidate will work closely with the customer and other project teammates to support acquisition, integration, test, qualification, deployment, and operations of customer mission systems as they transition into production.

Responsibilities of the Site Representative Systems Engineer :

• Participate in developer reviews, meetings, & boards (technical interchange meetings, manufacturing readiness reviews, change management, etc.), maintaining situational awareness of daily happenings and flowing updates/concerns to the home program office.
• Monitor/overseeing progress on corrective actions, problem closures, change board items, obsolescence issues, diminishing sources, etc.
• Following hardware pedigrees and participating in hardware verification efforts such as first article inspections, functional configuration audits, and physical configuration audits.
• Monitor lab and manufacturing areas, to include build schedules, build progress, and issues that would frustrate the schedule.
• Benchmark known best practices against developer's processes.
• Review and assess developers manufacturing and transition to production readiness/progress.

Qualifications of the Site Representative Systems Engineer :

• Bachelor's and fourteen (12+) years or more experience.
• Technical requirements development, systems engineering, and manufacturing in the design, production, integration and testing of terrestrial and space systems.
• Requirements verification and validation.

Compensation of the Site Representative Systems Engineer:

• Compensation: $140,000 - $170,000+ **based on years of experience**
