Description:As the Environmental Test Associate Manager on the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to design and execute qualification and acceptance tests that ensure missile defense systems meet environmental requirements and perform reliably.
Your work will directly support the integration of advanced technologies and the development of solutions that protect people and nations from emerging missile threats.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline such as Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM discipline
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Experience leading teams performing test planning, test execution, and test reporting
• Willingness and ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Desired Skills:
• Experience with unit/subsystem environmental testing (e.g. shock, vibe, thermal, EMI/EMC) and requirements verification.
• Systems engineering experience with requirement verification, product qualification, and acceptance.
• Experience with Missile Defense Agency or other large missile programs.
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply standards such as SMC-S-016, AIAA S-080, AIAA S-081, AIAA S-110, AIAA S-113, and AIAA S-114
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
