• Participate in systems analyses of programs and problems associated with supply systems.
• Develop, refines, interprets and issues policies and procedures for the activity that interfaces with other supply management policy.
• Participate in supply program planning, management, and evaluation by determining funding and staffing requirements for an installation supply program.
• Review and analyze information from automated systems to determine overall supply effectiveness.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations, the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. (GS-07) Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) assisting with analyzing information from automated supply/logistics systems, 2) aiding in ensuring policy and regulation are accurate, 3) supporting in supply program planning. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

OR

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Supply Chain Management.

OR

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.

(GS-09) Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) analyzing information from automated supply/logistics systems to determine efficiency, 2) ensuring policy and regulation are accurate, 3) supporting department budget for staffing and supply programs, 4) analyzing data to resolve supply issues . This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:Supply Chain Management.

OR

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (See below).
- 52 weeks of Federal service at GS-05 for the GS-07 position.
- 52 weeks of Federal service at GS-07 for the GS-09 position.

Position can be filled at any level (GS-7 or GS-09) with non-competitive promotion to the next grade levels are authorized until you reach the full performance level of GS-09, pending time in grade requirements and demonstrated ability to perform the next higher/target level grade duties.
