Summary:
• Develop robust and scalable cloud software solutions.
• Conduct comprehensive requirements analysis, software development, integration, and testing.
• Leverage a wide array of Big Data technologies and programming languages for application development.
• Design and implement applications utilizing advanced data storage and web service frameworks.
• Address critical aspects of Big Data cloud scalability, algorithm development, and database engineering.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Salary: $276k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Develop, integrate, and test cloud software applications through their full lifecycle.
• Perform detailed requirements analysis for new software functionalities and enhancements.
• Utilize Big Data frameworks including Map Reduce, Hadoop, Apache Hive, and Pig.
• Design and implement applications using Java, C, and C++.
• Develop solutions leveraging HBase, Accumulo, and Bigtable for data management.
• Implement Restful Web Services and develop user interfaces with Ruby on Rails and Javascript.
• Address Big Data Cloud Scalability challenges and contribute to Algorithm Development.
• Apply expertise in Database Engineering and optimize system performance.
• Work proficiently in both Windows and Linux operating environments.
• Monitor system health and performance using tools like Nagios.
• Possess strong Communications/Technical Writing skills for documentation and collaboration.
• Apply understanding of Network Protocols and Linguistics as required for project tasks.
