Ground Systems Engineer
Location: Aurora, CO

Job Description:
ITEC is looking for a talented Ground Systems Engineer to join our team. The GSE Provides real time, operational support to Air Force crews and contractor test teams for the operation and maintenance of system software and equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilizes strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Performs software maintenance support for Linux, AIX, SGI, PC, and associated switching, network, and communications circuits and equipment.
- Provides limited UNIX system administration support.
- Participates in software version testing and evaluation.
- Provides maintenance and support for on-going systems, including monitoring of system performance and data backups.
- Shift work required.
Required Skills:
- Security +.
- UNIX and/or LINUX.
- Software scripting.
- Must be willing and able to work a shift schedule, which includes weekends and holidays supporting 24x7 operations.
- Occasional travel to Boulder, CO and Aurora, CO.
Desired Skills:
- C2 System Anomaly Resolution.
- Satellite Ground Systems operations experience. SBIRS, DSP, GEO, HEO.
- AIX, LINUX, Shell Scripting, Perl, and Python.
