We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $150,000-160,000. Job Duties:
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads team in the development of project scope, or develops it independently.
- Provides technical direction to the project team.
- Interprets the project scope through the development of equipment design, layouts or descriptions.
- Identifies problem areas and provide action plans.
- Assists Project Manager and Discipline Leaders in the development of the Project Control Documents.
- Coordinates between disciplines, vendors, and field.
- Takes lead in designing, specifying and procuring of project major equipment.
- May fill Project Manager or discipline lead role.
- Establishes liaison with client, determines client requirements and assures that all design data, criteria and conditions affecting the design of the plan are issued to and understood by the members of the project team.
- Acts as prime technical resource for the project.
- Provides back up to the Project Manager.
- Reviews and monitors all design activities related to layout, constructability, maintainability, operability, and safety.
- Builds and maintains discipline and morale on the project
Required Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. degree in a recognized engineering field from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of engineering plus task supervision of multi-discipline team of designers and engineers.
- Decisional Authority: Final decision and approval of documents and communications issued on the project when authorized. Authority to implement corporate policies and procedures related to task execution. Interprets client contract requirements and authorizes work performance to meet those requirements.
- Physical & Risk Effort: Routine exposure to field conditions or actual manufacturing environments.
- Working Conditions: Office sedentary or manufacturing environments; regular travel required. Contacts: Client representatives, project field personnel, team engineers and designers.
