As an access and data tagging spe cia list on our team, you'll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for data tagging. You'll resolve routine data architecture- related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by ensuring data is only available to the intended audience.

In this role, you'll grow your technical expertise, apply best practices, and use tools like Collibra or Alation. You'll guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you'll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience in data governance, data ste war dship, data quality, or met adata management
• Experience applying and maintaining met adata, labels, or tags to datasets and data assets at scale
• Experience working with databases or data platforms to manage access and met adata, and managing user access and permissions in enterprise systems
• Experience with identity and access management ( IAM ) concepts and tools
• Knowledge of data privacy and compliance requirements as they relate to data classification and handling
• Ability to collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure proper data usage and classification
• Ability to document data standards, tagging conventions, and governance procedures
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of hire date

Nice If You Have:

• Experience partnering with data engineering teams to embed tagging and classification into pipelines
• Experience with automated data classification and tagging tools
• Experience working with data governance or catalog tools such as Collibra or Alation

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
