The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Keyport Division Detachment Pacific (Code 04/TDC) serves as NUWC's forward presence across the Middle Pacific, Guam, and WESTPAC, providing site and detachment management under the Commanding Officer's delegated authority. Responsibilities include oversight of program management, operations, safety and occupational health, security, personnel administration (including EEO and professional development), environmental compliance, emergency preparedness, facilities and space management, and proper use of government resources and funds. The detachment also manages on-site operations, executes Navy program duties, oversees military personnel allowances, and acts as the command's liaison with local installation leadership for services and support. Supported divisions include the Hawaii Fleet Test and Operational Assessment Division (Code 24), Pearl Harbor Torpedo Division (Code 34), and Fleet Technical Support Division (Code 45).
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Secretary II provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the technical and operational teams executing Undersea Warfare (USW) Combat Systems Technical & Administrative Test and Evaluation (T&E) on the Hawaii Detachments Support Services contract. This includes support for Combat System Sea Qualification Trials (CSSQT), Developmental Testing (DT), Integrated Testing (IT), and Operational Testing (OT) of U.S. Navy ships and platforms at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Keyport Hawaii Detachment. The ideal candidate has prior experience performing a variety of advanced secretarial and administrative duties, including document preparation, scheduling, correspondence, data entry, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and maintenance of technical and administrative records. The role requires a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, defense-oriented environment that frequently involves coordination with government personnel, ship-riding support activities, and classified material handling. Occasional travel and administrative support during at-sea test events may be required. This position is located in Honolulu, HI (Ford Island).
This is a reduced full-time role expected to regularly work 30-32 hours per week.

What You'll Do
- Provides administrative support to technical teams conducting USW Combat Systems T&E activities, including CSSQT, DT, IT, and OT events.
- Prepares, edits, and formats technical reports, correspondence, briefings, and meeting materials with a high level of accuracy.
- Manages calendars, schedules meetings, coordinates travel arrangements, and maintains accurate records for program personnel.
- Performs data entry, filing, tracking, and maintenance of administrative and technical documentation, including classified materials when appropriately cleared.
- Assists with preparation and distribution of test event documentation, agendas, and after-action reports.
- Supports coordination of ship-riding and at-sea test logistics from an administrative standpoint.
- Answers telephones, screens calls, greets visitors, and handles routine inquiries professionally.
- Maintains office supplies, equipment, and administrative databases as needed.
- Bid and proposal support if requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required for this position.
- HS Diploma required.
- At least two to four (2-4) years of progressively responsible secretarial or administrative experience (administrative experience supporting a federal customer or military personnel preferred).
- Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality, including handling sensitive or classified information.
- Basic understanding of administrative support within a technical or defense-related environment.
- Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Must possess strong time management skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
- Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.

Desired Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience providing administrative support within a U.S. Navy, Warfare Center, or defense contractor environment.
- Familiarity with shipboard operations, test and evaluation processes, or technical program support activities.
- Experience handling classified materials and working within secure systems.
- Experience supporting technical or engineering teams in a government or defense contracting setting.
- Working knowledge of DoD administrative procedures, standard correspondence formats, and travel coordination processes.
