Job Description

Responsibilities

The position requires a Project Integrator - Communications Specialist with strong written communication and organizational skills to coordinate and develop content for component-level workforce and organizational communications vehicles.

Key responsibilities of the PI include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Draft written communications products, including Sponsor-published articles, component newsletter articles, workforce notes, web content, scripts for video and podcasts, storyboards, brochures and posters, PowerPoint. presentations/briefings, senior leader bios, senior leader speeches, talking points, and remarks.
  • Coordinate with other offices and stakeholders to review materials prior to publication and release.
  • Review communication plans and edit communication products (e.g., newsletter articles, posters, and other messaging as appropriate) from Sponsor's subordinate components, offices, and employee-run advocacy groups.
  • Collect, edit, and author articles for periodic Sponsor newsletters.
  • Create captions and transcripts for Sponsor communications products in compliance with digital accessibility requirements.
  • Capture, consolidate, and synthesize inputs into cohesive messages consistent with established office and Agency style guides and templates.
  • Proactively pitch ideas for written products that will support the Sponsor's mission and enhance Sponsor's brand.

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline.
  • BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5
  • Ability to fully coordinate project schedules.
  • Ability to coordinate program management process activities such as Program Reviews and Control Gate Reviews, including scheduling meetings and preparing briefings and presentations.
  • Ability to assist in the preparation of management plans and reports.
  • Ability to maintain correspondence, suspense files, records, reports, operating procedures, internal memoranda, and compose correspondence.
  • Ability to compose technical documents including user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
  • Ability to fully perform tasks requiring the collection, compilation, evaluation, and publishing of information and statistical data.
  • Ability to work in Confluence; maintaining SOP's, organizational charts, administrator access tracking.

  • 1 year of experience in the Intelligence Community.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Ability to coordinate with engineers, systems analysts, programmers, technicians, scientists, and top-level managers in the planning and coordination of programs.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
