Position Summary:

KBR is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to support a U.S. Government program office executing a rapid acquisition effort to field next-generation ground-launched counter-air capabilities. This role supports overall program execution by helping manage schedules, track actions, coordinate meetings, organize program information, and support communication across multiple technical and functional teams. The position will work closely with the Program Manager and broader team to help keep the program organized, integrated, and moving forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Program Manager and broader team with day-to-day program management and coordination activities.
  • Maintain and update integrated schedules, action item trackers, decision logs, risk lists, and program status reports.
  • Coordinate meetings, reviews, and other program events, including preparing agendas, tracking attendance, and documenting meeting notes and action items.
  • Assist with development of briefing materials, status updates, spreadsheets, and other program documentation.
  • Support integration of programmatic information across technical, schedule, budget, contracting, manufacturing, and test activities.
  • Track program milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to help ensure timely execution.
  • Coordinate with Government stakeholders, contractors, and internal team members to collect, organize, and communicate program information.
  • Support maintenance of SharePoint sites, document repositories, and other collaboration tools.
  • Assist with travel planning, visit coordination, meeting logistics, and other administrative support activities as needed.
  • Help identify programmatic issues, schedule conflicts, or coordination gaps and elevate them to leadership.
  • Support preparation for technical reviews, leadership meetings, and major program events.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of program metrics, dashboards, and recurring reports.


Work Environment:
  • Location: On-site (Eglin AFB, FL)
  • Travel Requirements: Low, 10%
  • Working Hours: Standard - Core hours 0900 - 1500


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Program Management, Engineering, Management, Communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience supporting program management, project management, operations, or similar activities
  • Experience maintaining schedules, trackers, meeting notes, status reports, or related program documentation
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required


Desired:
  • Experience supporting a Government program office, acquisition program, or defense contractor program team
  • Familiarity with integrated master schedules, risk registers, action item tracking, and milestone management
  • Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or other program management tools
  • Familiarity with defense acquisition, testing, manufacturing, or engineering environments
  • Experience preparing executive-level briefings and recurring status reports
  • Associate's degree or certification in program management, project management, or related field
