As the Operations Manager for Space Research, Development, and Acquisition, you will provide leadership over multiple SETA contracts with a goal of providing exceptional service that leads directly to our customer's success. With Army and acquisition reform driving a desire to field equipment quickly, you and your teams will provide novel solutions to Science & Technology efforts and Programs of Record to deliver prototypes, rapidly iterate new solutions based on Soldier feedback, and then rapidly transition to production to field the force. You will lead, manage, hire, counsel, and synchronize a professional workforce comprised of engineers, logisticians, security managers, cyber security specialists, business, and other critical functions. Work location is Redstone Arsenal and Huntsville, AL with opportunities for ~25% travel.

Principal Responsibilities
- Coordinate directly across contracts with Government leadership to continually improve SETA processes and contributions.
- Manage daily operations while coordinating and integrating activities across SETA organizations.
- Provide organizational, technical, operational, and managerial advice to US Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) and Capability Program Executive for Intelligence and Surveillance Warfare (CPE ISW) leadership.
- Research and gather information on Army and Acquisition initiatives to improve processes and speed delivery of prototypes and capabilities.
- Prepare executive-level briefings and reports for USASMDC, CPE ISW, Department of War (DoW), Congressional, and Army Senior Leaders.
- Proactively engage with senior executives, action officers, and other stakeholders (including sub-contractors and Prime contractors).
- Assist in the coordination for onboarding and offboarding of personnel.
Required Skills
- Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI).
- Professional understanding of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework with an ability to apply initiatives to develop and employ novel and innovative acquisition strategies.
- Ability to develop high-quality, professional briefings and written reports to succinctly capture key issues for DoW decision-makers and Congress.
- Self-starter, able to take initiative and accomplish work independently with minimal guidance.
- Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the DoW and Army Acquisition organizations, roles, and responsibilities is desired.
- Prior assignment in Product Management Office.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field
- At least 15 years of experience supporting the DoW as a government contractor or prime performer.
- Experience as a Product Integrator or similar role coordinating and integrating activities for a DoW organization.
- Experience providing organizational, technical, operational, and/or managerial advice.
- Experience researching and gathering information to support executive tasking.
- Experience in interacting with staff and other offices as part of executive level tasking.
- Experience in compiling, consolidating, and tracking information for executives.
- Expert in developing briefings, documents, reports, and correspondence for senior executives.
- Staffing, recruiting, and hiring management experience.
