Position Title: Personnel Specialist

Job Duty Description
SkyBridge Tactical is seeking a Personnel Specialist to support Naval Special Warfare Mission Support Center (NAVSPECWARMSC) garrison operations in Coronado, California. This position provides critical pay, personnel, and administrative support to command staff and serves as a key link between NAVSPECWARMSC personnel and supporting Navy personnel service organizations.
The Personnel Specialist will operate under the direct supervision of the NAVSPECWARMSC Administration Officer and Personnel Clerk and will be responsible for maintaining personnel records, processing staff personnel data, and coordinating administrative actions related to human resources and Navy personnel support functions.
Primary duties include:
• Provide Sailor pay and personnel support using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and applications identified in the Command Pay and Personnel Administrator (CPPA) Toolbox.
• Support Navy pay and personnel transactions between Sailors, the command, and supporting Transaction Service Centers (TSC) and Regional Support Centers (RSC).
• Review personnel and pay documents for accuracy, completeness, required attachments, and timely routing.
• Maintain familiarity with applicable Pay, Personnel, and Travel (PAYPERS) policies and references.
• Use Navy personnel and pay systems including, but not limited to, EUCFR, MMPA, Sales Force, NSIPS, FLTMPS, BUPERS Online (BOL), and My Navy HR resources.
• Assist with Billet Based Distribution (BBD) processes and support command-level personnel administration requirements.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and administrative documentation in prescribed formats, including military-style correspondence when required.
• Attend all required CPPA training provided by supporting Navy personnel service organizations.
• Safeguard Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and immediately report any spillage or compromise.
• Support monthly reporting, manpower reporting, and other contract-related administrative deliverables.
• Maintain effective communication with Government personnel, staff members, and supported Sailors in a fast-paced operational environment.
Required Skills / Experience
• Active Secret clearance required at time of appointment.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience within the last 5 years performing pay, personnel, and administrative support functions for the U.S. Navy or a comparable DoD organization.
• Experience working with Navy correspondence and administrative reports, including performance reports.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience within the last 10 years using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to operate a personal computer and work across multiple databases and personnel systems accurately.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to produce clear, concise reports and correspondence in required formats.
• Experience maintaining access to Federal Government systems and working within Government administrative requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting strict timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and customer support.
