Program Support Specialist
Location: (Onsite) 4287 Spruill Ave, Suite 200, North Charleston, SC 29405
Clearance Level: Active Secret Security Clearance required; U.S. Citizenship required
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized early-career professional to join our team as a Program Support Specialist supporting our Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) task order. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance documentation and equipment records in support of task order requirements, as well as providing general program coordination support to the Program Manager. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates clearly, and is comfortable maintaining records and tracking action items across multiple workstreams. No prior cybersecurity experience is required — task-order-specific orientation and on-the-job training are provided.
Services to be performed include, but are not limited to:
Compliance Documentation & Equipment Records — CSSP Task Order Support
• Maintain task order compliance records in the GRC platform (Drata), including vendor directory updates, policy acknowledgment tracking, and evidence library maintenance; flag incomplete items to the task order lead.
• Track completion of mandatory annual training campaigns (security awareness and CUI awareness) and provide status updates.
• Coordinate collection and organization of compliance documentation and evidence artifacts required for audits and assessments; ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain SharePoint document libraries for compliance materials, ensuring version control and proper organization.
• Compile compliance dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI for program review.
• Support internal reviews by gathering requested documentation and reports.
• Maintain contractor-furnished equipment (CFE) inventory, including asset tags, serial numbers, models, and assignment tracking.
• Process laptop requests, coordinate issuance, and manage logistics per SOP.
• Initiate and track warranty cases for in-coverage devices and enforce data handling procedures.
• Coordinate with managed service provider (BEMO) via Zendesk for device-related issues and escalate as needed.
• Monitor device lifecycle status and flag refresh eligibility.
Program Coordination & Administrative Support
• Provide administrative support to the Program Manager, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and action item tracking.
• Maintain program documentation such as SOPs, meeting notes, onboarding materials, and staffing records in SharePoint.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics including equipment issuance, access requests, and readiness tracking.
• Compile program data for reporting and deliverables using Excel and Power BI.
• Draft routine program communications and correspondence.
• Maintain SharePoint trackers and collaboration sites to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Support proposal and task order administrative activities as needed.
Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Communications, or related field; OR 2+ years of relevant experience in program coordination, administrative support, or records management in a DoD or federal contractor environment in lieu of degree.
• 1–3 years of experience in program coordination, administrative support, office management, or data tracking/reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Power BI for basic reporting and dashboard updates.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Active Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain one; U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting compliance, audit, or documentation control functions.
• Familiarity with GRC platforms (Drata, eMASS, XACTA, or similar).
• Experience supporting Navy or DoD systems commands.
• Familiarity with security awareness training platforms (e.g., KnowBe4).
• Experience using ticketing systems such as Zendesk.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Familiarity with Dell ProSupport or asset lifecycle tracking.
