Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Manager Facilities Engineering 3 to join our diverse team in the Defense Systems Division. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the facilities portfolio across our division's locations. This position will in Huntsville, AL. This role will be responsible for several locations across the US and will require travel to ensure adequate execution and performance. This position will be a leadership role with direct reports that are assigned and support each of our sites.

Primary Level Salary Range: $167,500.00 - $251,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily facility infrastructure operations.
- Develop and manage facility operating budgets, cost pools, capital expenditures, and staff.
- Create and implement strategic facility plans to maximize resources and achieve cost-effective operations.
- Establish and maintain service level agreements; manage and report on space utilization and occupancy.
- Collaborate with campus facility management, site senior management, and business development leadership to address site requirements.
- Work with Maintenance, Planning, and Business Management support teams to prioritize future facility and user projects for capital and indirect funding.
- Coordinate with Business Management on capital and indirect reviews and annual project budget distributions.
- Present building modification options for management, including recommendations for alternatives.
- Coordinate staff duties, responsibilities, projects, schedules, and budgets through regular meetings.
- Participate in technical design reviews and facilitate vendor support to ensure long-term maintainability and common equipment recommendations.
- Prepare and present status reports to management and division leadership.
- Maintain facility appearance and ensure compliance with EH&S and OSHA regulations.
- Oversee a robust preventive maintenance program using NG business Systems, maintain output metrics, and manage vendor purchase orders.
- Aim for minimal operational interruptions with a goal of zero downtime.
- Ensure compliance with space utilization policies and collaborate on sector and corporate metric development.
- Manage and ensure Manufacturing and Infrastructure capacity is sufficient and proactive for business needs in the division.
- Develop and implement business resumption and emergency preparedness plans.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of facilities-related experience; or master's degree with 8 years of experience; or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience in leading or managing teams/projects, including goal setting and performance reviews.
- Knowledge of facilities infrastructure, equipment redundancies, electrical and mechanical systems, classified construction, and basic code requirements.
- Successful experience in vendor negotiations, facility consolidations, and relevant construction projects.
- Experience with classified workspace requirements.
- Experience with SAP level workspace requirements.
- Familiarity with accounting and budgeting practices.
- Experience briefing senior management and executive leadership.
- Proven ability to achieve organizational objectives and metrics.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing facilities in a n engineering and
manufacturing production environment. - Bachelor's degree in MEP Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Management, or Business Management.
- 8-10 years of Facilities Project Management experience.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems.
- Experience with varying business systems that support facilities management.
- Experience with classified workspace requirements.
- Experience with SAP level workspace requirements.
- PMP Certification.
