Job Description
Attention 91B Mechanics ready for Civilian Work - Immediate Openings for Field Service Maintenance Mechanics.
This role is within the Field Service Section for all maintenance related activities at U.S. Government and civilian test sites and client locations. The locations will be located at but not limited to Aberdeen, MD, Auburn Hills MI, Yuma, AZ, White sands missile range, NM, FT. Hood TX, Hattiesburg MS, and other US test sites as required.
Education & Experience
• Applicable/commensurate work experience
• 4+ years Armored Vehicle operations/maintenance experience in any military ground combat vehicle MOS preferred
• 5+ years Field Service/Engineer Representative (FSR/FER) at U.S. Government Test Site
• Practical ‘hands on’ self-starter able to work independently with little on-site supervision while providing routine vehicle maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Experience in Prototype Production and the transition to serial production.
Physical / Travel Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time. Occasional travel to Europe will be necessary. Passport Required as well as real ID endorsed drivers license with no major infractions.
• Ability to work extensive hours and multiple shifts as required.
• Ability to use personal credit card for initial travel expenses with reimbursement within two weeks.
