We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to provide enterprise-level analytical, automation, and project support services supporting the Defense Logisitics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Engineering (EE) Front Office Support and Automation Project Support.
Position Overview:
The Business Systems Analyst serves as a subject matter expert in business processes and is responsible for formulating system scope and objectives relative to organizational strategy, Department of Defense (DoD) lifecycle requirements, and industry best practices. The analyst supports cross-functional project teams by providing technical guidance on the business implications of applying enterprise information technology systems, automation tools, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) capabilities.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Provide analytical and technical support to Enterprise Engineering leadership.
• Support facilitation and management of taskers using RAVEN, Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS), Program Executive Office (PEO) taskers, and ServiceNow (SNOW).
• Assist in maintaining a 98% or greater on-time tasker closure rate.
• Develop leadership summaries, Power Program Management Reviews (PMRs), presentations, reports, and executive briefings.
• Support coordination activities across J65, J65C, and external stakeholders.
• Develop metrics and reporting aligned with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) strategic objectives.
• Prepare stakeholder communication summaries within required timelines.
• Analyze existing manual information technology processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Support automation initiatives leveraging ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
• Assist in automation of policy compliance tracking, continuous monitoring, and enterprise integrations.
• Support development of Automation Plans and Artificial Intelligence (AI) enablement strategies.
• Translate operational requirements into functional and technical system requirements aligned with DLA systems engineering best practices.
• Support Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) implementation and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) alignment activities.
• Assist in articulation and refinement of Program Increment (PI) objectives.
• Collaborate with scrum teams to ensure business requirements are clearly defined and properly implemented.
• Provide analysis supporting design, development, testing, implementation, monitoring, and documentation of information technology solutions.
Required Qualifications:
• ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent recognized Project Management certification.
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in business systems analysis, information technology project support, enterprise systems implementation, or acquisition support.
• Demonstrated experience with Department of Defense (DoD) Lifecycle Management processes.
• Demonstrated experience with DoD Directive 5000.1 and DoD Instruction 5000.2, including associated guidebooks governing the Defense Acquisition System.
• Demonstrated experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
• Demonstrated experience with Defense Planning and Acquisition Tracking System (DPATS) system engineering tool.
• Demonstrated experience with Defense Acquisition Management Information Retrieval (DAMIR) System, including Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) reporting formats.
• Demonstrated experience with Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) software for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience supporting Enterprise Engineering and/or front office operations in a DoD or Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) environment.
• Hands-on experience configuring, administering, or integrating ServiceNow (including GRC) to support automation and compliance workflows.
• Experience developing dashboards, metrics, and executive-level reporting (e.g., leadership summaries and PMR products).
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices (SAFe) and translating business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and executive briefings.

Pay Range: $93,500 - 113,850
