POSITION OVERVIEW
Join a high-impact team modernizing and upgrading one of the military’s most enduring and mission-critical aircraft—the AC-130. We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician with deep modification experience to support hands-on integration and upgrade work for a major Department of Defense aviation program.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of complex avionics systems and components on the C-130 platform.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions to support modification and integration tasks.
• Install, terminate, and route wiring harnesses and coaxial cables in accordance with military and industry standards.
• Conduct system operational checks and support avionics testing and validation procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and program teams to ensure all work meets contract specifications and documentation standards.
• Adhere to all safety, security, and compliance protocols in a controlled hangar environment.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
• 4+ years of avionics installation, integration, or maintenance experience—preferably in a modification or depot-level environment.
• Direct experience with military aircraft.
• Proficient in using avionics test equipment, hand tools, and MIL-SPEC wiring procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams with accuracy.
