Financial Analyst

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Financial Analyst to support a company focused on delivering mission-critical business case development and business process analysis for federal law enforcement customers. This position is on-site at Arlington, VA. The Financial Analyst will support a Department of Justice (DOJ) United States Marshals Service (USMS) project by providing data-driven financial and operational analysis to inform executive decision-making and improve organizational effectiveness. This role directly contributes to the USMS mission by enhancing financial transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities for the Financial Analyst include:

• Conduct forensic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and forecasts, translating findings into actionable insights for program managers and executive leadership.
• Identify, analyze, query, and produce financial and operational metrics, benchmarks, and recurring reports across intra- and inter-agency stakeholders.
• Coordinate, execute, and aggregate complex data calls in support of program managers and Financial Services Division (FSD) executives.
• Support the integration of business processes, people, and technology to improve financial reporting, data accuracy, and process efficiency.
• Provide high-quality customer service through effective consultation, communication, and collaboration in a matrixed and time-sensitive environment.

Required Qualifications for the Financial Analyst include:

• 4+ years of experience performing financial analysis, business analysis, or data analysis in a complex organization.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Access, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, analytics, and data visualizations.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with proven abilities in consultation, facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution of higher learning.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance.

Compensation for the Financial Analyst include:

• Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 depending on experience
• Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick leave as required by law
