Data Warehouse Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Data Warehouse Specialist to support a company focused on delivering data-driven solutions for a large federal government agency. This position is on-site at Arlington, VA. The Data Warehouse Specialist will support enterprise-wide data governance, data quality, and data integration initiatives by developing policies, standards, and processes that enable accurate, secure, and actionable data. This role directly supports the mission of improving government decision-making through trusted, high-quality data.

Responsibilities for the Data Warehouse Specialist include:

• Performing data cleansing, standardization, and quality assessments to identify trends and ensure data integrity
• Planning and executing data migration and integration strategies from legacy systems to modern databases
• Developing and enforcing organization-wide data governance policies, standards, and compliance processes
• Creating SQL queries, reports, and dashboards using tools such as Power BI to enhance enterprise reporting
• Collaborating with business users and IT stakeholders to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and implement data solutions

Required Qualifications for the Data Warehouse Specialist include:

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, data analysis, systems analysis, and data modeling
• Hands-on experience with SQL (ANSI SQL), data migration/integration, data analysis, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and process improvement skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution
• Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher)

Compensation for the Data Warehouse Specialist include:

• Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000 **depending on experience**
