Job Description:
As a member of the Avionics Lab department you'll get to immerse yourself in the testing, assembly, and maintenance of advanced electronic systems that are crucial for mission-critical applications. You will actively engage with electronic assemblies, circuit boards, and test equipment, ensuring that these systems not only meet but exceed performance and quality standards. Responsibilities
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electronic systems, components, and equipment. Diagnose and repair circuit boards, wiring, and other electronic components. Perform operational tests at environmental stress screening, vibration, and thermal levels to ensure compliance with design specifications. Identify and isolate malfunctions down to the component level. Conduct defined engineering tests and collect assigned data. Document test results, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately. Perform complex IPC class circuit card surface mount rework, perform self inspection of solder quality. Maintain compliance with all NGC CAT 2 Foreign Object Elimination (FOE) and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) safety, quality, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) standards.
Basic Qualifications for Electronic Technician 3
7 years of related experience or electronics training equivalent to 4 years of technical trade school or military technical school, Maintain AS9100 compliance and support internal and external audits.
Preferred Qualifications for Electronic Technician 3
Familiarity with surface mount soldering, digital/analog circuits, or embedded electronics. Experience with Component-level troubleshooting. Certified IPC-A-610 Class III Surface Mount. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
