Radar Modeling and Simulation Engineers – Digital Simulation
Gauge Engineering Services is seeking Modeling and Simulation Engineers to support the development, integration, and test of scalable, software‑defined, multi‑mission S‑Band radar systems. These efforts span fixed, transportable, and surface‑ship radar platforms and directly contribute to next‑generation mission capability.
Program Overview
Gauge Engineering Services is an established subcontractor supporting multiple new development efforts associated with the Golden Dome program.
Location: Moorestown, NJ; Camden, NJ; or Syracuse, NY
Clearance: Secret (U.S. Citizenship required)

What You’ll Do
Develop high‑performance software using Object‑Oriented Modern C++
Support systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, traceability, and verification
Contribute to the development of mission‑critical components such as the mission planner module, stand‑alone truth provider, open system architecture, radar sensor models, and S‑Band search/track/engagement capabilities
Participate in software release cycles, code reviews, and model maintenance
Work within an Agile development team
Operate onsite at a Lockheed Martin facility alongside highly skilled engineers
What We’re Looking For
U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Experience levels:
Level 5: 14+ years (Subject Matter Expertise preferred)
Level 4: 9–13 years (Subject Matter Expertise preferred)
Level 3: 5+ years
Level 2: 2–5 years
Strong proficiency in Object‑Oriented Modern C++
Experience in both software development and software systems engineering
Strong analytical skills and applied mathematics background
Demonstrated experience in modeling and simulation of complex systems
Applicable domain expertise in at least one of the following areas (preferred):
Radar Systems
C4ISR Systems
Space Systems
Electronic Warfare Systems
Complex Electronic Systems
Candidates with direct experience modeling radar phenomenology, sensor behavior, mission‑level system interactions, or digital simulation frameworks will be especially competitive.
