Under this task order, the contractor shall provide services in support of the Office of Undersecretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs, National Museum of American Diplomacy (R/PPR/NMAD).

Under this task order, the contractor shall provide services in support of the Office of Undersecretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs, National Museum of American Diplomacy (R/PPR/NMAD).
- Facilitate simulations with school groups or civic organizations and motivate these groups to conduct similar programs for their membership
- Assist in the development of web content in support of education programs
- Serve as a producer for live virtual events, giving direction to the on-air talent and relaying questions
- Collaborate with the Director of Public Programs to devise content for public programming
- Assist with hosting school groups and the general public in the museum space
- Assist with the museum's large events that require full office support
- Track and report performance metrics for public programs
- Draft promotional and outreach materials for public programs
- Assist with the development of new education materials and products meant to reach high school and college students and their instructors
- Travel and cultivate relationships around the country in support of the museum's outreach mission
- Other related programming duties as assigned, such as contributing to educational materials, assisting with teacher trainings, and assisting with museum events.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in conducting public programs, particularly to high school audiences
- Knowledge of best practices in instructional and public engagement methods
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Bachelor's degree in education, communications, international relations, history, or related fields
- 3-5 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of international affairs, diplomacy, or area studies preferred
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
