Job Description

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to support classified and sensitive security programs in a high-visibility operational environment. This role supports information security, classification management, incident response, destruction operations, and security training in accordance with DoD and Intelligence Community requirements.

This position is contingent upon contract award and not currently funded.

Responsibilities

  • Support collateral and SCI information security programs.
  • Conduct security inspections, assessments and compliance reviews.
  • Manage classified material handling, destruction and inventory processes.
  • Process and track security incidents, inquiries and correct actions.
  • Maintain security records, databases and tracking tools.
  • Develop and deliver Security Education, Training and Awareness briefings.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting DOD or Intelligence Community security programs.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience with classified material handling and security documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting declassification or foreign disclosure programs.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, Power Point), and Outlook.
